Oakline Life is a brand operated by BrandToGo (“BrandToGo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing the Site or submitting the quote request form, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. What Oakline Life Does
Oakline Life operates a lead-generation and referral service that connects consumers interested in life insurance with licensed independent insurance agents and brokers. Oakline Life is not an insurance company, is not an insurer, and does not issue, underwrite, sell, or bind insurance policies. We do not make coverage decisions or provide insurance advice. Any policy you ultimately purchase is a contract between you and a licensed insurer.
2. No Guarantee of Coverage or Rates
Submitting the quote request form does not create an application for insurance and does not guarantee that you will be offered coverage or any particular rate. Quotes, premiums, and eligibility are determined solely by the insurers and licensed agents you are connected with, and are subject to their underwriting, verification, and approval.
3. Consent to Calls and Emails
By submitting the quote request form, you authorize Oakline Life and the licensed agents or brokers we work with to contact you at the phone number and email address you provide — including by telephone call and email — regarding life insurance products and your quote request. You understand that:
- Contact may be made using an automatic telephone dialing system or an artificial or prerecorded voice;
- Your consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services and is not required to receive a quote; and
- You may opt out of future calls at any time by asking to be removed, and out of emails by using the unsubscribe link.
4. Text Messaging (SMS) Terms
Text messaging is a separate, optional program. You are only enrolled if you affirmatively check the SMS consent box on our form — it is unchecked by default, and checking it is never required to submit the form or to receive a quote. These SMS Terms apply if you opt in:
- Program: by opting in, you agree to receive recurring automated marketing and informational text messages from Oakline Life (the “Oakline Life Alerts” program) at the mobile number you provide, which may be sent using an autodialer.
- Message types: quote details, appointment reminders, follow-ups, and related messages about your life insurance request.
- Frequency: Message frequency varies.
- Rates: message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
- Opt out: reply STOP at any time to cancel. You will receive a confirmation and then no further messages.
- Help: reply HELP for help, or email support@oaklinelife.com.
- Carriers: mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Consent: your consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your SMS opt-in and consent are used only to send the messages described above and are not sold, rented, or shared with any third party. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
5. Your Responsibilities
When you use the Site, you agree that:
- You are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms;
- The information you provide is accurate, current, and belongs to you;
- You are the subscriber or customary user of any phone number you submit and are authorized to consent to being contacted at it; and
- You will not use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it.
6. Intellectual Property
The Site and its content — including text, graphics, logos, and design — are owned by or licensed to Oakline Life and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the Site without our prior written permission.
7. Third-Party Services
Once you are connected with a licensed agent or broker, any subsequent interaction is governed by that party’s own terms and privacy practices. Oakline Life is not responsible for the products, services, conduct, or communications of any third party.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Oakline Life will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising out of or related to your use of the Site or the services it facilitates, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which BrandToGo is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
