When you request a quote, we collect the information you enter into the form, including:

• Your first and last name;
• Your mobile or other phone number and (if provided) email address;
• Your age, state of residence, gender, and marital status;
• The amount of coverage you are interested in and your intended beneficiary;
• Your preferred time to be contacted; and
• Your military service status.

We may also automatically collect limited technical information — such as your browser type, device, and the date and time of your submission — to operate the Site and help prevent spam and fraud.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide to:

• Connect you with a licensed insurance agent or broker who can prepare a quote;
• Contact you, or have that agent contact you, about the quote request you submitted;
• Send you text messages about your request if you separately opted in to receive them (see Section 5);
• Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site; and
• Comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud or abuse.

3. How We Share Your Information

Oakline Life is a service that connects you with licensed independent insurance agents and brokers. To provide the service you request, we share the information you submit with one or more licensed independent agents or brokers so they can contact you and prepare your quote. We may also share information with:

• Service providers who perform functions on our behalf — such as website hosting, analytics, and the messaging platform we use to send texts — and who are permitted to use the information only to provide those services to us; and
• Authorities or other parties when required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We do not share your information with unrelated third parties or affiliates for their own advertising or marketing.

Text-message consent is never shared. No mobile information — including your phone number as it relates to text messaging and your SMS opt-in consent — will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties.

4. Communications and Your Choices

By submitting the form, you consent to be contacted by phone and email about your quote request as described in our Terms of Service. Text messages are optional and separate — you only receive them if you check the SMS consent box, and doing so is never a condition of getting a quote. You can opt out at any time by asking to be removed during a call, replying STOP to a text message, or using the unsubscribe link in an email. Opting out of marketing does not affect communications necessary to respond to a request you have already made.

5. Text Messaging (SMS) Program

If you check the text-message consent box on our form, you opt in to receive recurring automated text messages from Oakline Life (our “Oakline Life Alerts” program) at the mobile number you provide. This section describes that program.

• What you receive: quote details, appointment confirmations, reminders, and related transactional texts about your life insurance request.
• Message frequency: Message frequency varies, based on your request and your interaction with us.
• Cost: message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Oakline Life does not charge you for the messages.
• How to opt out: reply STOP to any message to stop. You will receive a single confirmation and then no further texts.
• How to get help: reply HELP to any message, or email support@oaklinelife.com.
• Consent is optional and is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services or of receiving a quote.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your text-messaging opt-in and the mobile information associated with it are used solely to send you the messages described above and are not sold, rented, or shared with any third party for their own marketing.

6. Cookies and Analytics

The Site may use cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences and understand how the Site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may affect how the Site functions.

7. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain your information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. If you opt out of text messages, we keep a record of your opt-out so we can honor it.
